2018: MU Club of San Diego Service Day

Join Marquette alumni in the area in the true spirit of Ignatius for a service project! While the Marquette campus will dispatch thousands of volunteers, in Milwaukee, San Diego alumni, parents and friends will also join the force!

Sunday, April 15

6:45 a.m. – Volunteers gather
7 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. – Service project

Long Island Mike’s Pizza
5250 Murphy Canyon Road, San Diego

Marquette volunteers will serve with The Burrito Boyz to cook and assemble approximately 600 burritos, bread, water, pet food and love to the homeless in two different locations in downtown San Diego.

Adults, teens, young and old are encouraged to attend. Volunteers should wear comfortable casual clothes and be prepared to carpool/caravan from Long Island Mike Pizza to the distribution locations in downtown San Diego.

The Burrito Boyz Mission is to help nourish the spirit of the street homeless of San Diego County by providing dignity, hot food and comfort.

Knowing every gift counts I/we would like to make a gift.

Please consider a gift to the Scholarship Fund with your registration. When you give, you support Marquette’s Ignatian Promise Scholarship Initiative and provide access to the promise of Jesuit higher education and the Marquette experience for current and future students.

If you have questions about making a gift, please contact Terrie Bruckbauer at or (414) 288-3353.
