Thursday, June 2

Bowling at the Union Sport Annex  | 7 p.m., Marquette Campus, Union Sports Annex, 804 N 16th Street
Let the good times roll with an evening of bowling and connecting with fellow BAA alumni prior to the 20th Anniversary kick-off.  Snacks and cash bar available.

 

Friday, June 3

Reunion Headquarters | 10 a.m. - 8 p.m., Marquette University campus, Alumni Memorial Union (AMU), second floor
Stop by for all your registration needs, pick up your keepsake name tag, reconnect with fellow classmates, and relive the past by checking out the Marquette Archives exhibits.

Black Marquette Book Discussion with Alumni Contributors | 3 - 4 p.m., Marquette University campus, Alumni Memorial Union
Join Black Marquette book contributors Brian Distance, Eng ’87; Arthur Jones, Comm ’17; Dr. Shirley Knowles, Comm ’07; and Lisa Osborne Ross, Jour ’84, as they take a deep dive into their pre- and post-Marquette experiences via a panel discussion moderated by Aaron Maybin, Comm ’15.

All-University Awards Dinner | 6:p.m. Cocktails -  Alumni Memorial Union, Lynch Lounge; 6:30 p.m. - Dinner and Program - Alumni Memorial Union, Monaghan Ballroom, Marquette University campus
Marquette’s 2022 All-University Awards recipients have profound impact as men and women for and with others. They will be honored on campus with a ceremony that concludes an amazing awards season recognizing alumni, parents and friends from Marquette’s colleges, professional schools and alumni groups who embody the university’s mission pillars of excellence, faith, leadership and service.

Reunion Late Night Party | Black Alumni Association Dessert and Wine Reception; 8 - 10 p.m., Nō Studios, 1037 W. McKinley Ave., Milwaukee 
Parking: Guests may use the Brewery St. Parking Structure (east of Nō Studios). Metered street parking is also available; ride share strongly encouraged.

Kick-off the weekend with fellow alumni at Nō Studios, a Milwaukee urban premiere destination, founded by Oscar winner and Milwaukee native, John Ridley. Tours will be offered throughout the evening. The reception also features a soulful performance by accomplished Jazz musician and alumna, James Austin, Jr., Arts ’98.

Saturday, June 4

Marquette Fun Run| 9 a.m., Milwaukee Lakefront
Join fellow alumni for a casual meet-up at Milwaukee’s lakefront for a fun run.

Celebrate this milestone with fellow alumni during a special lunch and brief program – highlights include remarks from Marquette Men’s Head Basketball Coach Shaka Smart and the honoring of the 2021-22 Ralph H. Metcalfe, Sr. Scholarship recipients.

Marquee Night | 6 - 10 p.m., Marquette University campus, Central Mall
Reconnect with classmates in the heart of campus as you dine on some of Milwaukee’s favorite foods and dance the night away with live music.

If You’re 40 and You Know It, Clap Your Hands: One Man Comedy Show featuring Rondell Sheridan, Sp ’80 |10 p.m., Marquette University campus Weasler Auditorium
“If You’re 40 and You Know It, Clap Your Hands” is a non-stop celebration of life, love and laughter told by our very own, Rondell Sheridan, master storyteller, that will have you laughing at yourself. Enjoy a post-show reception in the Weasler Auditorium with light snacks and beverages.

Alumni National Awards | JUNE 2-3, 2022

In addition to Black Alumni Association’s 20th Anniversary, alumni are encouraged to attend Alumni National Awards events, which are being held June 2 – 3. Join us as we recognize and celebrate distinguished award recipients from every college, all who represent the true spirit and mission of Marquette. Please consider attending the award ceremonies and sending congratulations to the award recipients, including All-University Service Award recipients, Cynthia J. Ellis and Maurice H. Ellis, Sp ’77.
