Can art combat digital distraction? Beyond focused contemplation, art offers models of attention. Mary, a paramount example in Western art, reveals attention is more than just focus; she's also distractible for good reason. Marian art prompts us to reconsider if digital-age "distraction" might be vital to Christian spiritual life.
