Isaiah McKinnon, Ph.D., associate professor of education, University of Detroit Mercy, will discuss "Faith in a Violent Society: An Ignatian Perspective from a Local Guy."  He is former deputy mayor and chief of police of the City of Detroit and has won an Emmy for his role as an NBC News Safety Consultant.
