Marquette in Minocqua - Dragon Boat Festival

Join Marquette University alumni, parents and friends for a day of dragon boat racing (an ancient Chinese sport), cheering, music and festival fun for the entire family.

Stop by the Marquette tent and make a sign to cheer on the university's dragon boat team. The first 15 individuals who show their Marquette pride by wearing blue and gold at the Marquette tent will receive a prize.

Join Marquette’s dragon boat team for fun and competition on the water. No experience necessary!  All teams are guaranteed 2 races. Please note team practice will take place Friday, Aug. 16, in Minocqua. 
**The MU team is currently full, but you may register on the wait list in case a teammate has an unforeseen conflict.**

Get shuttle and parking information.

Register online to be a fan/spectator, or a member of the Marquette paddling team.

Team members will be contacted nearer the date of the festival with race details.
