Lawrence Burnett, Arts ’78, shareholder at Boerner Van Deuren s.c. (Reinhart) was named the firm’s 2023 Pro Bono Attorney of the Year. Burnett lives in Wauwatosa, Wis.
Katie (Costello) Provenzano, Comm ’07, joined American Solutions for Business as a brand marketing partner. She lives in Elmhurst, Ill.
Amy Reinert, Arts ’95, was appointed chief marketing officer at Nickerson, a global marketing and communications agency based in Boston.

School of Dentistry professor named fellow for American Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research
Dr. Christopher Okunseri, professor in the Marquette University School of Dentistry, was one of seven faculty members nationally to be recognized as a fellow by the nation’s premier dental research society. Read more.

Ralph Weber named permanent general counsel
Ralph Weber, Arts '78. has been named permanent general counsel, President Michael R. Lovell announced. Weber, a longtime Milwaukee trial lawyer and Marquette alumnus, has served as acting general counsel since November. Read more.
Provost’s Office to change leadership structure to align work with Marquette 2031 strategic plan; acting roles, promotions announced
The changes, which follow extensive feedback from University Academic Senate, will group similar functions and reduce the number of senior leaders in the Provost’s Office. Read more.
