Mike Broeker, Grad ’12, Deputy Athletic Director A proven administrator with 23 years of experience, Mike Broeker is in his 15th year as Deputy Director of Athletics, and 18th overall at Marquette University. In addition, he served as the department's acting director of athletics from July through December 2011.

Broeker joined the Marquette Athletics staff in November 2003 as Assistant Athletic Director for Media Relations, after nearly four years as a member of the basketball communications group at the National Basketball Association (NBA). While at the NBA, he worked to generate awareness for the league, its executive staff, events and initiatives and served as the primary contact for local and national electronic media outlets.

Prior to working with the NBA, Broeker spent two years working in the communications group for the Women's Tennis Association (WTA). He served as a primary on-site media contact for events including Wimbledon, the Australian Open, the U.S. Open, and the French Open.

A former student-athlete at Siena College, Broeker was a two-year letterman as a pitcher for the baseball program. He got his start in college athletics as a Marketing/Sports Information Assistant at his alma mater.

Broeker earned a bachelor's degree in English from Siena in 1997, and master's degree in leadership studies from Marquette in 2012.

He and his wife, Anne, an alumna of Marquette, have three sons, Michael, Danny and Charlie.


Lou DiSabatino, Vice President of Event Operations for NBA Lou DiSabatino currently resides in New Jersey, just outside NYC, where he is the Vice President of Event Operations for the National Basketball Association. With 25 years of event experience at the NBA, Lou manages the day-to-day logistics that go into the league’s overall event calendar, consisting of team, guest and staff experiences at the NBA All-Star Weekend, NBA Draft, NBA Finals, NBA Global Games, the NBA Draft Lottery, as well as all events relating to the WNBA and NBA G League.

In 2020 and 2021 he spent 6 months in Florida overseeing various aspects of the NBA, WNBA and G League Season bubbles. Lou also oversees event operations at International Basketball Competitions for USA Basketball’s Men’s and Women’s National team which has included the Summer Olympics in Sydney, Beijing, London, Rio and Tokyo.

He is a member of the Marquette University Parent and Family Leadership Council and father to Marquette graduate Wil (Comm, ’19), Marquette student Ben (Business ’22), and future Marquette student Owen (class of ’26)


Missy Farren, Arts ’82, Managing Partner at Finn Partners Missy Farren has been making a difference for a vast array of clients for nearly 30 years. After a quick rise through the executive ranks of the agency and corporate worlds, Missy built her own firm, Missy Farren & Associates (MFA). And, after more than two decades of leading her own agency, Missy joined forces with Finn Partners, where she continues to mastermind culture-shaping campaigns for brands, companies and organizations spanning travel and hospitality and consumer products to sports, outdoor and wellness.

Missy’s far-reaching influence in creative lifestyle marketing is nearly impossible to ignore. From the Olympic Games to the burgeoning brands that are changing the game, from the most popular bucket list destinations to new trailblazers shaping the hottest travel trends of tomorrow, and from the must-have products in every home to the innovations that are evolving the way we live, Missy’s expansive portfolio of experience and deep understanding of the industries she serves speaks for itself.


Tess Quinlan, Comm ’14, Senior Manager, Digital Content for NBC Sports Tess Quinlan (Comm '14) is the senior manager for digital content at NBC Sports, where she oversees digital video distribution, editorial partnerships, and audio content. Quinlan has worked across NBC's premier properties and events, such as the recent concurrent Super Bowl and Winter Olympics. Prior to her time at NBC, she worked at USA TODAY Sports as a digital producer. While earning her degree in Broadcast and Electronic Communication, with a double minor in Business Administration and Writing-Intensive English, Quinlan was a tour guide and worked in student media. An Emmy-Award winner, she currently resides in New York City.


Adrienne Ridgeway, Grad ’10, Executive Associate Athletic Director, Academic Services and Student Programming, Marquette University Adrienne Ridgeway is in her 18th year overall with Marquette and was promoted to Executive Associate Athletic Director Academic Services & Student Programs in July of 2018 and serves as the department's lead administrator. Ridgeway is responsible for providing the strategic vision for the academic and student programs staff, which works with the group of over 300 student-athletes. Additionally, she serves as the primary academic liaison to campus and works specifically with the men's basketball team and women's and men's tennis teams in advising and monitoring the academic progress of these student-athletes.

In addition to her academic responsibilities, Ridgeway serves as the sports administrator to the Marquette men’s and women’s cross country and track teams and is the immediate past Chair of the NCAA Research Committee. Ridgeway was appointed the department's Athletics Diversity and Inclusion Designee (AIDA) and serves as the channel for information related to national, conference, and campus level issues of diversity and inclusion and supports diverse and inclusive practices related to athletics. Prior to Marquette, Ridgeway spent two years with the Milwaukee Public Schools as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Ridgeway ran track for four years at Howard University in Washington, D.C. and received her bachelor's of science in speech-language pathology and earned her master's degree in speech-language pathology while working as a graduate assistant to the athletics director in the Howard Athletics office.

Ridgeway also holds a Master of Education in College Student Personnel Administration from Marquette. A native of Milwaukee, Ridgeway resides in Brown Deer with her husband, LeVar, and their daughter, Brooke.
