From a small local corner store to a major corporation, learn how businesses can be most supportive of their employees and clients during these uncertain times. This session will take a look at how to adapt and pivot the business and how best to help employees as they return to work while being agile and using an entrepreneurial mindset. The program will be moderated by the co-directors of the 707 Hub, part of the Office of Research and Innovation at Marquette. The 707 Hub is where ideas are shared, stretched, challenged and realized.

Jessica Ollenburg, Bus Ad ’85, Grad '90, is an internationally triple-certified educator-author-consultant. Megan Carver, Comm ’08, is the associate director for the Kohler Center for Entrepreneurship and co-director for the 707 Hub at Marquette University. Megan provides support, guidance, programming and resources to students, faculty, and staff across campus to help them pursue their interests in entrepreneurship and innovation. Megan’s prior work experience was with Brady Corporation in corporate communications and community relations and she was instrumental in developing STEAM educational programming throughout the city of Milwaukee.

Kelsey Otero, Grad ’14, is the associate director of social innovation at Marquette University. In this role, she co-leads the 707 Hub, Marquette’s innovation space, runs business bootcamps and works to build the social innovation ecosystem in Wisconsin. In addition, Kelsey is passionate about economic and business development in Milwaukee, serving as Co-Chair of the Near West Side Commercial Corridor Working Team, volunteering on the Fund Milwaukee board and running the popular Rev-Up MKE business pitch competition. In 2019 she was recognized as one of Milwaukee Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 winners.
