This year, Marquette University celebrates the 500th anniversary of Ignatius the soldier’s injury by cannonball in the Battle of Pamplona, a moment that instigated a change of heart and attested to God's constant invitation of grace.

In recognition of this moment in both Marquette’s institutional and community history, join us as we hear from and honor the stories of members across our Marquette and Milwaukee communities. We’ll hear from representatives of the Hispanic Professionals of Greater Milwaukee, the Milwaukee Neighborhood News Service, the Near West Side Partners, Ascension Wisconsin, and from Marquette’s Educational Preparedness Program as they share stories of hope rediscovered, of faith rekindled, and of discovering joy in the struggle.

We offer a special thanks to our partners with the Marquette Office of Economic Engagement, the Mission and Ministry - Ignatian Year Planning Committee, and the MU Forum. For additional information about this program, visit the Office of Economic Engagement’s website.

Special thanks to our Lead Sponsor, Ascension.
