Advent Visio Divina
RECORDED ON DECEMBER 4, 2023 | 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. CT
Presented by: Dr. Kathy Coffey-Guenther, Arts '85, Grad '88, '98, senior advancement officer for alumni spirituality, Marquette University
We warmly welcome you to join us for a virtual Advent prayer experience of Visio Divina. Some of you may be familiar with Lectio Divina, a way of praying with scripture. Visio Divina, Latin for “Divine Seeing”, is a way of praying with images and artwork. During these busy days of Advent and pre-Christmas flurry, join us for some moments of quiet prayer, presence, scripture, and time to see and feel more deeply the sacred presence of these anticipatory days of Jesus’ birth on Earth.
