SadoffLacey Sadoff, Comm ’05
Milwaukee, Wis.

These days, successful multigenerational family businesses are unique and special entities. That’s why Lacey Sadoff is so passionate about continuing her family’s legacy. As the fourth-generation co-owner and president of Badger Liquor, the largest wine and spirits distributor in Wisconsin, Lacey takes pride in employing more than 500 people and helping them grow professionally.

Lacey serves her community in a variety of roles, as a member of the boards of the Lacey Sadoff Foundation, Milwaukee Film, Radio Milwaukee, and the Sadoff Family Foundation. She previously served on the boards of Marian University, Milwaukee Zoological Society, and the Wisconsin Restaurant Association. Lacey strongly believes in maintaining and growing cultural landmarks in the Milwaukee community.

She started her own foundation, the Lacey Sadoff Foundation, to fund and support local organizations that challenge conventional ideas, value human connection and empower a rising generation of female leaders and entrepreneurs. Through her firm, LAS Investments, she is actively involved in redefining and rejuvenating properties throughout Milwaukee.

Lacey prioritizes giving back to future generations of students at Marquette as well. She serves on the Friends of Haggerty Museum Leadership Council and supports the Haggerty Museum of Art.

Lacey defines success as making an impact through positive leadership, which aligns directly with the Jesuit concept of servant leadership. She focuses on always treating people fairly and encouraging them to be courageous in order to achieve ambitious goals. Lacey also believes the best way to influence people is through inclusion, inspiration and action.
