Courtney Hanson, Arts ’98, Health ’00, Grad ’06, has served in various career services roles at Marquette University since 2005. Appointed director of the Career Services Center in July 2019, she leads campus strategy development and implementation to achieve aligned, collaborative campus career services and ensure a consistent experience for all Marquette students. In her role, she engages with academic and student affairs departments, the Office of Economic Engagement, and employer partners to maximize student access to meaningful career opportunities.

As a three-time graduate of Marquette, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, a Master of Physical Therapy degree, and a Master of Education degree. She also completed advanced training to become a Certified Strengths Coach, Global Career Development Facilitator and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Master Practitioner. She has presented at national, regional, and state conferences and regularly facilitates individual and team development sessions.

Brian Noviskis, Bus Ad ’82, is vice president, Human Resources at Signode Industrial Group, LLC, a leader in industrial packaging. He is based in Glenview, Ill., and leads human resources for Signode Americas with more than 3,000 employees in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil and Columbia. Brian has worked in public and private firms within the financial services, distribution, building automation, electronic engineering, IT services, healthcare and industrial packaging industries. He has held leadership roles at corporate and divisional levels with focus areas having been in strategic talent acquisition, talent management, employee relations, organizational effectiveness and general human resources management.

Brian serves on the Marquette Human Resources Advisory Board and has co-chaired Marquette’s Business Career Center Advisory Board. He is an active member in the Society for Human Resources Management and the Human Resources Management Association of Chicago. He holds a MS HR degree from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.

Erick Bratt, Bus Ad ’09, is associate manager - Data and Reporting at Molson Coors Beverage Company in Milwaukee. He entered the career world during the economic downturn in 2009. One month prior to graduating from Marquette University his offer to join a local fintech company was rescinded due to a joint venture. His career journey after Marquette has included working as a painter, being hired as the second employee at a failed tech start-up, learning procurement as a buyer at a family business, and surviving four reorganizations at two multi-billion-dollar companies. Leveraging his IT degree talents, he has served for nearly 10 years as a procurement professional and is in a supporting role within Molson Coors’ Procurement Center of Excellence.
