A look back at Marquette’s fundraising results from fiscal year 2023

The Marquette University Advancement team raised $100.5 million in new gifts and confirmed pledges in fiscal year 2023. This marks the third year of raising more than $100 million in the university’s historic Time to Rise campaign, which is making an impact with students, faculty and staff in every corner of campus. Dr. Elsbeth Kalenderian named next dean of the Marquette University School of Dentistry

Elsbeth Kalenderian, D.D.S., MPH, Ph.D., professor in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department at the Amsterdam University Medical Center, has been named dean of the Marquette University School of Dentistry. She will begin in the role on Aug. 14. Read more.

ButtinoJenny (Bobula) Buttino, Comm ’07, and Thomas Buttino, welcomed twins Maxx and Mia on March 29, 2023. They join older brother Roman. The family lives in Phoenix.


 

FlowersChristina Flowers, Comm ’07, put her journalism career on hold after receiving her third and fourth regional Emmy Awards with WKYC, an NBC affiliate in Cleveland and accepted the position of director of media relations for Connecticut College.


 

GirschBrad Girsch, Bus Ad ’95, Grad ’03, joined Accuity Healthcare as vice president, growth. He lives in Cedarburg, Wis.
