Robert W. Hau, Bus Ad ’87
Mequon, Wis.

Back when he was a student at Marquette, Robert Hau remembers shopping in the Boston Store in downtown Milwaukee. Today, as executive vice president and chief financial officer for Fiserv, Bob is leading the effort to establish Fiserv’s new corporate headquarters in the former Boston Store building.

BroerenService Award
Richard A. Broeren, Jr., Bus Ad ’77
Arlington Heights, Ill.

After a career in banking for Bank of America and BNP Paribas, Richard Broeren is now investing in young learners as a partner with The Colors of English, an education start-up that teaches the fundamentals of reading and writing. He launched the organization with a fellow alumnus and Marquette doctoral student, and the program is already being used successfully at Notre Dame School of Milwaukee.

Patricia A. O. Trompeter, Bus Ad ’89
Greenwich, Conn.

Marquette prepared Patti Trompeter for a career as a business leader. Currently CEO of Sphere 3D, she has expertise in leading corporate turnarounds, as well as mergers and acquisitions. “I love the excitement of learning a new technology,” she says, “and figuring out all of its applications in industry.”

Marcelo Bartholo, Bus Ad ’01
Moorestown, N. J.

In his work for consulting firm EY, Marcelo Bartholo serves as vice chair of the U.S. East Region, the company’s largest region. “My favorite part of this job,” he says, “is working with some of the world’s brightest people to advise our clients and build a better working world.”
