Dr. Krejci currently serves on the Aurora Community Board of Aurora Health Care. Janet has served as faculty on several different Leadership Development Fellowships including the Center for Leadership, University of South Carolina and the Illinois Organization of Nurse Leaders Fellowship program. She frequently participates in area panels on health care and higher education issues and speaks to various groups especially related to MUCN’s commitment to preparing a diverse workforce grounded in the framework of the characteristics of the Marquette Nurse.

Jill L. Guttormson MS, Ph.D., RN is the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and an Associate Professor at Marquette University College of Nursing. Dr. Guttormson received her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin and her Nursing Education Masters and PhD from the University of Minnesota. She joined Marquette faculty in 2011. Dr. Guttormson’s research has focused on interventions to enhance patient centered care in the intensive care unit and improve patient outcomes after critical illness.

Patricia Schroeder, BSN ’75, MSN ’78, MBA ’97, provides leadership to the strategic plan for the College of Nursing. She has extensive clinical and executive experience having served as Chief Nursing Officer, Executive VP and Chief Operating Officer, System Administrator to major health systems and settings. She has served as a school of nursing Dean in another setting, and as faculty both at Marquette and beyond. Most recently, she served as Chief Nursing Officer to the Alternate Care Facility at State Fair Park, providing care to Covid Positive patients transferred from Wisconsin hospitals. She served as editor of the Journal of Nursing Care Quality for 19 years, published 6 texts, and has consulted, mentored and lead strategy in multiple settings. Pat is a Fellow in the American Academy of Nursing.

Jennifer Minhas is a 1989 graduate from the College of Nursing at Marquette. Throughout her 32 year career in nursing, she has held clinical, managerial and Nursing Professional Development roles in pediatrics throughout the US. She spent many years at Rady Children’s in San Diego as a Nursing Educator, responsible for new grad nursing transition to practice as well as clinical advancements such as work on development of the first pediatric “smart” infusion pump technology. In her most recent position at Seattle Children’s Hospital, Jennifer led a team to provide up to date education programs for medical and nursing clinicians in Seattle and throughout the pacific northwest region. She now lives in San Diego with her husband Micky, Eng '89. Jennifer stays connected to Marquette as her daughter is a sophomore in the College of Health Sciences. She enjoys her involvement on the College of Nursing Campaign Committee and Leadership Council, and has found her role as mentor to be deeply rewarding.
