Corporations operating in the global economy are facing a multitude of challenges, including climate change, human rights, poverty, access to health and education, inequality, and conservation. This CSR-focused event, presented by the Management Department of the College of Business Administration at Marquette University, focuses on exploring how two companies are working towards addressing the challenges of climate change through corporate effort and action. We invite you to join us for a panel with two accomplished industry representatives and alumni of Marquette University, Kim Marotta, Global Senior Director of Sustainability and Enterprise Risk Management, Molson Coors, and John McIntyre, Managing Director, American Family Institute for Corporate and Social Impact, to discuss their views on the challenges of climate change and how their organizations are tackling these important challenges. This panel will be moderated by Tim Hanley, Interim Keyes Dean of the College of Business Administration.

Kim Marotta, Bus Ad '88, is the Global Senior Director Corporate Responsibility for Molson Coors, a position she has held since December 2016. In her role, she is responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives that promote sustainability, deliver cost savings, enhance reputation, manage long-term risk and fuel financial growth. Kim joined the beer business in 2004 and held similar positions for MillerCoors and Miller Brewing Company in the U.S. Kim completed her undergraduate degree at Marquette University in 1988 and is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison Law School.

John McIntyre, Eng '87 is the Managing Director at the American Family Insurance Institute for Corporate and Social Impact. John has over 25+ years of experience as a venture capitalist, entrepreneur, and business executive in Silicon Valley and around the world. John earned his bachelor’s degree from Marquette University.

Tim Hanley, Bus Ad '78, is the acting Keyes Dean of the College of Business Administration. Tim received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the College of Business Administration and that same year began his career at Arthur Andersen, serving as an audit partner for many of the largest manufacturers in Wisconsin.

Recently, Tim retired as a senior partner with Deloitte LLP. Tim is a seasoned global executive, with extensive experience consulting with manufacturers regarding digital transformation, organizational strategy development and execution, acquisitions and market development. Under his leadership, Deloitte’s Global Consumer and Industrial Products practice grew to be the largest at Deloitte, with over $14 billion in revenues.

Tim has also served at Marquette as a longtime member of the College of Business Administration Dean’s Advisory Council, as a member of the university’s President’s Advisory Council, and on the Campaign Executive Committee. In October of 2019, Tim became the college’s first ever executive-in-residence. Tim was recognized in 2012 as the College of Business Administration’s Distinguished Alumnus of the Year.
