We'll meet before the concert at the small covered picnic area at Ruby Hill Park next to the playground up the hill from the Levitt Pavilion. Look for the Marquette flag.Please bring a blanket or small lawn chair for seating. You are welcome to bring a picnic for yourself, or food trucks and beer will be available at the venue.About the concert:The Grammy Award-winning Rebirth Brass Band with special guest Slim Wednesday (featuring JoJo Hermann from Widespread Panic, and "Artist at Large" Big Chief Juan Pardo).Rebirth Brass Band has an innovative, contemporary approach to New Orleans music. Following up their 2012’s Grammy Award-winning album "Rebirth of New Orleans" with 2014’s "Move Your Bod," has been at the top of both the CMJ & Jazz Week Radio charts.Formed in 1983 by the Frazier brothers, the band has evolved from playing the streets of the French Quarter to playing festivals and stages all over the world. While committed to upholding the tradition of brass bands, they also perform funk and hip-hop tunes to create their signature soul-moving sound.Rebirth Brass Band has shared the stage with Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Grateful Dead.Parking InformationConcert Venue Regulations
