This year, Marquette University celebrates the 500th anniversary of the life-altering injury by cannonball that St. Ignatius sustained as a solider at the Battle of Pamplona, a moment that instigated a change of heart and attested to God’s constant invitation of grace.

In recognition of this moment in both Marquette’s institutional and community history, join us as we hear from and honor the stories of members across our Marquette and Milwaukee communities. We’ll hear from representatives of the Hispanic Professionals of Greater Milwaukee, the Milwaukee Neighborhood News Service, the Near West Side Partners, Ascension Wisconsin, and from Marquette’s Educational Preparedness Program as they share stories of hope rediscovered, of faith rekindled, and of discovering joy in the struggle.
