AMUW SCHOLARSHIP
The AMUW Scholarship was established in 1991 by the AMUW Board of Directors, providing outstanding Marquette women who demonstrate financial need with a scholarship for their senior year.

AMUW IGNATIAN LEADERSHIP AWARD
Established in 1991 by AMUW to honor Saint Ignatius of Loyola, the founder of the Society of Jesus, this award recognizes a graduating Marquette University senior who excels academically, has demonstrated leadership skills, and volunteered her services to the Marquette and Milwaukee (or her hometown) communities.
AMUW MARY NEVILLE BIELEFELD AWARD
Established in 1965, the Mary Neville Bielefeld Award is presented each spring to an alumna who has demonstrated outstanding loyalty to the ideals of Marquette. Nominate a fellow alumna.
AMUW NORA FINNIGAN WERRA FACULTY ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
The AMUW Nora Finnigan Werra Faculty Achievement Award honors and recognizes a female Marquette faculty member who excels in her research, teaching and service to Marquette and to the community, and who also has effectively mentored students and other faculty members.
AMUW PROFESSORS IN THE HUMANITIES
Established in 2025, this prestigious five-year honor recognizes Marquette University faculty members for their outstanding contributions to research, teaching, and service. For over eight decades, the Association of Marquette University Women (AMUW) has played a vital role in supporting and empowering Marquette women in their academic and professional pursuits. The AMUW professorships continue this legacy by providing professional development funding to advance faculty research and enrich the student experience.
