Timothy R. Kinzel, D.D.S., Dent ’84
Madison, Wis.
Dr. Timothy Kinzel says that, for a pediatric dentist, success is easy to define: “If we could get to the end of the day and were able to say we did some really good work, that was enough.” By that definition, thanks to his work with children and patients with special needs for more than 35 years, Tim has had more than his share of success.

Gary A. Hendricks, D.D.S., Dent ’85
Cumberland, Wis.
What does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God (Micah 6:8). Dr. Gary Hendricks’ favorite Bible verse tells us a lot about a man who has been involved in mission work in the Dominican Republic for more than 20 years and served as a Marquette preceptor at Chippewa Valley Technical College dental clinic for nearly a decade.

Young Alumna of the Year Award
Zazell Staheli Cummings, D.D.S., Dent ’16
Kiana, Alaska
After completing her degree, Dr. Zazell Staheli Cummings traveled more than 3,000 miles back to provide public health dental care in her home of Northwest Alaska. As lead dentist at the Maniilaq Health Center Dental Clinic, she serves Kotzebue and the 11 surrounding villages. This remote area is a part of the world where travelling annually is done by airplane and seasonally by boat or snowmobile.
