As a former partner at Quarles & Brady LLP and Executive Director of the Legal Aid Society of Milwaukee, who has served the Milwaukee and Wisconsin legal communities for 40 years, Mike Gonring is unfailingly humble, reluctant to accept recognition for a lifetime spent in service to others. He has been a leader not only in direct pro bono work but also in inspiring fellow lawyers.

In grade school, Rebeca López dreamed of being a Mexican folkloric dancer, representing her heritage and culture through the arts. While her path instead led to law school, she proudly represents her diverse heritage and her community as a leader throughout the state of Wisconsin, in her work both as an employment-law attorney and in public service.
