#LovellStrong 5K Fun Run

Marquette President Michael R. Lovell recently shared that he was diagnosed with sarcoma, a rare form of cancer. Marquette student-athletes invite the Marquette community to lace up their shoes and join them to show support for Dr. Lovell and all those who are battling cancer.
Join Marquette University student-athletes along with alumni, parents and friends for a #LovellStrong 5K run/walk to show support for Dr. Lovell as the Marquette family stands with him.

8:45 a.m. CST - Pre-run festivities & brief remarks
9:00 a.m. CST - Fun Run begins
Marquette Campus
Central Mall
(Behind Raynor Memorial Library)
Gather in the heart of campus for a pre-run pep rally hosted by Marquette student-athletes. Enjoy complimentary light refreshments, live music and brief remarks before the Fun Run kicks off from Central Mall. Then run, jog or walk the 5K route to pound the pavement in support of Dr. Lovell. Online registration for the in-person campus fun run is now closed. Walk-in registration will be available on Sunday.
Complimentary parking will be available on Sunday, November 7 in the 16th Street Parking Structure (749 N 16th Street). A map of the visitor parking structures can be found here.

REGISTER ONLINE TODAY for free and receive a link to download and print a #LovellStrong Virtual 5K sign; add your name or simply write down a few words of encouragement. Share your run photos and signs on social media using #LovellStrong.
If you make a gift of any amount to the Bridge to the Future Fund with your registration, you will receive a #LovellStrong t-shirt as our thank you for participating via mail four weeks after the run.
