Are all Class of 2020 graduates invited to attend the Class of 2020 Celebration Weekend?
Individuals from the Class of 2020 Undergraduate Colleges, College of Health Sciences Professional degrees, Graduate School and Graduate School of Management are welcome.
What should I wear?
Graduates of the Class of 2020 participating in the Celebration Weekend will receive a cap and commemorative tassel on behalf of the Marquette University Alumni Association. Caps and tassels will be distributed at Recognition Walk Check-in beginning at 3:15 p.m. and are yours to keep.
What is the carry-in recommendation?
Graduates and guests are strongly encouraged to limit or forego carrying a purse/bag if you choose to participate in the Graduate Recognition Walk. There will not be a coat check on site at the walk, therefore, you will have to carry those items with you. Limiting carry-in items to a small wrist clutch, if any, is highly recommended.
Will the event be canceled if there is bad weather?
The Graduate Recognition Walk will happen rain or shine. Only in the event of severe weather will the event be delayed.
Is registration required for live streaming?
No, registration is not required for live streaming. The link to watch the live stream will be posted on the Class of 2020 Celebration Weekend website closer to the event date.
Can a family member register their graduate?
Yes, a family member may register their graduate. However, they must utilize the 2020 Graduate registration page link (different from the Parents & Guest registration page).
Is Marquette Law School or Marquette School of Dentistry having their own 2020 graduate celebration?
Yes, the Marquette University Law School and the Marquette University School of Dentistry will have separate celebrations for Class of 2020 graduates. Questions regarding the Law School celebration should be directed to christine.wv@marquette.edu. Questions regarding the School of Dentistry celebration should be directed to susan.dalsasso@marquette.edu. Graduates of Law and Dental will be contacted with details by their programs.
